Threaded Universes

The exhibition ‘Threaded Universes’ presented magnificent suzanis from Uzbekistan and filigree kelaghayis from Azerbaijan. These ancient textiles carry stories of protection, hope and the great cycles of life in their patterns – and at the same time wonderfully tied in with the symbolism and atmosphere of the Advent season.
